Something Crazy is a happnin'

Ok so its the Easter Holidays and traditionally this would mean mild yet sunny weather, ususally known as spring. This year seems to be a bit mental...this time last week I was in my bikini getting a (minor) tan in the scorching british heat. Now I am sat writing this a week later and it is currently flurrying with snow outside my window.

I think I'm not the only one who was prepairing for summer last week...putting the woolies to the back of the wardrobe and out coming the tank tops, sunglasses and the shorts!

Anyway all this aside last week was fun..and I thought I would share a bit of this with you...the photos aren't very interesting but maybe they will keep you buisy for a little longer in this dismal weather.

The good ol' days

I don't know why, but seeing pictures of the past has always really intrested me...I like to see what life was like before I was here, the perculiar clothing slightly hazzy photos of course the hair cuts!

Recently I was shown these photos, from my mums boarding school in Switzerland. They are from about 1973, and I think they are just divine...

Love the polo neck under the shirt, with the head band.

Love this, in the bath reading, with the bath cap and the bubbles- makes me think of the movies.

You can just tell this was so long ago...I mean look at the wall paper! I love it!

This was their school...this place could be in a fairy tale.

To me this just seems like the life, why can't boarding school be like this now. Life just seemed so relaxed.

A Little Bit of Spring

Spring has arrived...as the days warm my pashion for pastels grows. A pretty pail dress or some funky vintage glasses. What ever it may be if its pastel its got me!

When I found these photos I literally fell in love with them. Makes me think of ice creams on the beach with bathing suits and sand castles.

And so because I love her so much...my art project is based on her. Naturally this is the PERFECT oppertunity to have a photo shoot...so out came the camera (my personaly pride and joy) and Audrey was recreated.

    

well...some don't really resemble her. But it was fun.

H.O.P.E.

Exams were completed today. After a week of learning (cramming) and just generally stressing its done...well the mocs any way.

I just feel it necisary create this post, because frequently I find myself in situations which upset me or make me feel as though my life is being taken from me by people telling me what to do with it, when infact there is nothing worse that I could be doing in that moment. 

These occurences cause me to cherish my free time as if it were a toy I got the day I was born; as this is the only time I feel I can connect to the world. To reasearch future jobs, what I will do with myself when I leave school.

I know if I knew someone felt the same way as I do about things like these I would like to have known...So this is for anyone who ever experiences feelings of loss, failure or just pure stress.

School may seem dull to most...but work has nothing to do with it.
