My Room.

I love my room so much. I have had it my whole life. My mum constantly feels guilty because my only windows are on the roof, but I reassure her on a regular basis that I don't mind and that I don't suffer from some sort of problem due to lack of sun light. 
The coolest thing is that my bed is like in the sky as  I like to say. It can be a bit of  a faf getting up and down when your super tired but its so totally worth it! I change the lay out of my room regularly...I get bored really easily haha. Anyway here are so photos...

Baked Bean Chandelier.

I have recently finished my DT AS course work. I do product design and I designed and made a chandelier from old Heinz Baked Beanz cans. The main specification of the product was to be made from recycled products. I thought food packaging would be cool to work with. This entire thing took me about 8 months from the designs to the finished product. 
Now I am moving on to A2 and am currently deciding what to design...so if anyone has some crazy ideas please let me know!

Summer Sun.

I am aware that it has be far too long since my last post...I have been contemplating writing something for a while but nothing of interest to anyone came to me. I have come to the conclusion that some of the photos I have taken in the past few months may in fact be worthy of a post.
The photos below were taken the other day in the most beautiful weather we have had all year. This is what we tend to do at school these days, exams finished (YESSSS!) so we just chill out in the sun. Life is good.

 Below is a photo I took at exhibition, which is like a massive weekend at school like a speech day but like longer, anyway they had a balloon race for charity and this was them being released it was so cool to watch haha.

So there you go...short and sweet. But I am anticipating much more fun stuff to come hopefully in the near future, when perhaps my life will become a little more exciting.

Purple Lipstick.

This post is really random...I was aware that I have been seriously infrequent with my posts. So purple lipstick inspired me. So for christmas I got some purple lipstick from topshop. It is literally the coolest colour ever. I really think people need to be more adventurous with this kind of thing these days. When I wore it at school everyone seemed to like it, but most people were like, "yea its so cool but I could never wear it." which I find totally ridiculous. People are so judgemental when it comes to stuff which is like ever so slightly out of the box it sickens me. So seriously if your reading this (which will only be a minute amount of people, lets be frank we wont be breaking headlines with this one, but whatever small is powerful) you should totally try and wear something which you wouldn't normally wear once a week. I am doing it to...its quite fun really.

One can never have too many denim jackets.

This post is purely for the love of my new denim jacket. It is seriously awesome. I got it in a vintage shop on brick lane...in London. I saw it hanging on the wall and just HAD to buy it!!

The Magic of the Night.

A wintery evening in the valley brought out our creative side.We created the most awesome snow throne. We played games. Dressed up....wore crowns because...well why not! It was so magical, but this morning we were greeted again with the ordinary green world. So our mystical creations have melted away, which I think is kind of eire concidering it was at least 15cm deep yesterday.

Alt-J

So I don't know if you have heard of Alt-J or not but they are an English band doing incredibly well. They recently won the Mercury Prize for their first album, An Awesome Wave, which is pretty good. So anyway I love Alt-J, and fortunately for me my God father is a man of many wonders and managed to get me a signed record for Christmas...so amazing!! 

This gave us an excuse to get the record player working again, which we succeeded in and so I took some photos of it ( because it still feels like a dream) so here you go.
